well what you have written perfectly fits both the behaviour of the church in the past and the leftist state and its supporters nowadays, which is called the secular state principle. different ideology,the same intrusive means.but in fact,christianity brought europe out of barbarous dark ages while the modern secular state and its range of ideologies forces it back in there.

There may be nothing perfect in the world, but all sentient beings deserve the right to do what they want with their lives. Secondly, yes, I'm denouncing it, but not narrow-mindedly. Tell me, how exactly did christanity bring us out of the dark ages? As far as I could tell, much of the dark ages was the fault of religion. Lastly, one of my biggest qualms with religion is it treats people as if they cannot think for themselves, that, without it, they would be lost. This is not true.
